We pulled behind the line of cars stopped at the intersection. The traffic light blinked green. No one moved. Our irate driver yelled. “Moron, get off your phone.” Horns blared. The car ahead of us jerked forward. The light blinked red. The noise of crunching metal reverberated through the streets.
